Christian Campus Outreach Constitution
ARTICLE I: NAME
The name of this organization shall be the Christian Campus Outreach.
ARTICLE II: PURPOSE
The purpose of this organization shall be the guidance of students into a scriptural and saving faith in Jesus Christ; the grounding of these students in the principles of God’s Word through discipleship; and the sending of these students into their communities to offer this hope to others.
ARTICLE III: AFFILIATION
The Christian Campus Outreach shall be an affiliate of and comply with the authority of the Bible Baptist Church of Dickinson, North Dakota.
ARTICLE IV: MEMBERSHIP
Membership in this organization shall be open to Dickinson State University students and to friends from the surrounding communities who wish to attend.
ARTICLE V: OFFICERS
There shall be an elected president of this organization. There shall also be an elected vice-president who will serve as the secretary/treasurer.
To be eligible for an elected office, candidates must be in regular attendance of the Christian Campus Outreach and be actively participating in the process of discipleship.
Elections shall occur at the beginning of each semester by popular vote.
Meetings shall occur one time per week throughout the semester.
ARTICLE VI: FUNDING
This organization shall be funded through fund-raising activities when agreed upon by the majority vote of the members.
This organization shall operate as a non-profit association and no profits may accrue to any individual within the organization.
ARTICLE VII: AMENDMENTS
Amendments to this Constitution must be approved by two-thirds of the voting members and must be in compliance with the authority of the Bible Baptist Church of Dickinson, North Dakota.
